Welcome to Kirkville!
Welcome, oh wanderer of the web, to Kirkville, my new blog and website. Have a look around – you’ll find articles, news and opinions on Apple computers, Mac OS X, the iPod, using the command line, books, music and much more. This won’t be “just another blog” repeating the same news you can find on a dozen – or a hundred – other websites. I’d rather devote my time to talking about things the others don’t deal with, and write what I think, not just parrot what others have said.
Think of this site as a library, where you can dip into an ever-increasing archive of articles. You might not want to read them all now; but you know they’ll still be there the next time you drop in.
Feel free to create a user account if you want to post comments under your name (otherwise they remain anonymous), and if you use an RSS reader, look for the RSS Feed link near the bottom of the left column so you can keep up to date without checking the site.
If you have any viewing problems, please let me know – tell me what operating system and browser versions you’re using and I’ll try and straighten them out.

Ah, si j’avais le temps de tout traduire… Mon temps est mieux utlilisé a ecrire.

Je comprends… Moi-même sur mon site, j’avais démarré en fanfare une
version anglais mais dans mon blog, je ne traduis plus que l’essentiel… En
tout cas, c’est toujours un plaisir de te lire… en français ou en anglais.
