I used to think this way, but as I grew older I began to feel that I didn't have enough time left to read all the books I'd like to let alone the ones I'd already read once or twice. You do get over the' keeping books' mode.

I'm glad you're a fellow BookMoocher. I think it's important to understand that
you won't often get wishlist books - at least if they're new and popular - but
you'll easily get other, older books when you search for them. I've mooched
more books than I can read so far, and given as many.

The only problem with BookMooch is that it is a lot easier to give away books than it is to get them. They notify you when a book on your wish list becomes available, but yesterday was the first time I managed to respond fast enough to get the book before it was gone.

Even so I am a big fan of BookMooch because I like knowing my books are going to people who really want them.

When you run out of room, there's not much choice. This said, the ones I think
I'll reread I keep - as for others, I can always buy them again if I need to. :-)

I can understand that, after a while, books take lots of space but I can't
understand how one can get rid of books one has read, be it by selling them
or giving them away.. A good book is to be read again later.
