I just realized that I forgot to post about this article, which appeared on Macworld a week ago. Following a question from a reader, I wrote up an article about how to stream music from iTunes to an AirPort Express or to an Apple TV. It’s really easy to do, and very powerful, especially when combined with Apple’s Remote application on an iPhone or iPod touch. A future article will discuss using a third-party solution to stream music.

I’ve never purchased music on-line. Some web sites sell songs from albums for .99, a big savings if you don’t want the whole album. But, in my limited experience, they only have brief previews of 3 or 4 songs, frequently not the ones I’m interested in. Any suggestions how to preview and buy music?
Well, previews are available for all tracks, not just a few of them, at least on iTunes and Amazon. However, the previews are only 30 seconds, for reasons of royalties. How to buy? I guess you need to take some chances…
