Free Philip Glass Sampler from Amazon US
Why not another sampler today? There’s a free Philip Glass sampler on Amazon US. Now, I like a lot of Philip Glass, but not all of his music. I really liked some of what he did back up until around the mid-80s, and I think he’s become a bit of a machine-that-makes-movie-soundtracks in the past decade. Also, I find that his music is not ideally heard in little bits, like this sampler (21 tracks, from about one minute to just over six minutes). But if you’re not familiar with his work, it’s definitely worth knowing. His style is unique, even if I think he’s played it out and has been repeating himself for a while.

“Repeating himself.” Funny!
