Ok, so this is a “day we’ll never forget?” Apple adding The Beatles to the iTunes Store? Sure, it’s a big moment for Steve Jobs, and The Beatles were the last big band to not sell their music digitally, but seriously?
You can buy a digital box set of their music from iTunes for $150; you can buy it on CD from Amazon for only $130, and the package is nicer.
I like The Beatles; I bought both the stereo and mono sets early this year on sale from Amazon France. (And I’m listening to the first album as I write this.) But given the difference in cost between the CD versions and digital versions, you’d be a fool to not buy the box set on CD.
